Our commitment to providing the best dental care includes making it convenient for patients with busy lives. With this in mind, Dr. Bo Wright has implemented CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology in our office.
CEREC® utilizes computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) to create custom, permanent crowns, dental implants and other restorations in just one visit. Being able to get fitted with a permanent crown in one appointment means you don’t have the hassle of a second appointment or the inconvenience of a temporary crown, which can easily break or come off if you aren’t careful about what you eat or how you chew.
When creating a custom restoration in our office, we use software to take a digital impression of your tooth, which we then upload into our CEREC® software. This allows you to skip the messy, gooey, uncomfortable impressions typical when preparing restorative dentistry. Once the impression is uploaded, we can mill your restoration in our office so you can have your permanent crown, bridge, or veneer right away.
Our CEREC® milling machine will create your custom restoration to fit perfectly and match the color of your existing teeth. Dr. Bo Wright will check your bite, make any adjustments necessary for a perfect fit, and ensure your new restoration is tightly sealed to your tooth so decay won’t ever be an issue.
Creating your custom restoration in our office means we have control of the quality from start to finish. This means we eliminate the need for return visits if the lab, impressions, or anything else along the way did not turn out as expected.
When it comes to creating great dentistry for the members of our community, Bo Wright, DMD, is a perfectionist. His attention to detail, gentle treatment style, and friendly disposition take the stress out of restorative dental work and ensure your dental work is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional.
