Dr. Davied Sanchez is a North Carolina native who brings both hometown roots and an impressive academic journey to Wright Dental Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Davidson College before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry in 2024. During his time at UNC, Dr. Sanchez distinguished himself not only as a clinician but also as a researcher and teacher, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, earning research awards, and serving as a teaching assistant to first- and second-year dental students. His clinical expertise is vast, with particular emphasis on surgical extractions, dental implant placement, ridge preservation, sinus lifts, and Leukocyte-Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) therapy.
Deeply committed to giving back, Dr. Sanchez has a long history of community service with free clinics like NC Mission of Mercy and the NC Baptist Mobile Dental Unit, providing care to underserved communities across his home state. Outside of the office, he is a former NCAA Division I swimmer and North Carolina high school state champion; a background that has shaped his discipline, precision, and dedication to excellence.
